About The Role

As part of a team of over 90+ talented designers, our Website Designer will take part in the creation of an intuitive, consistent, and impactful experience for all of our 700k monthly website visitors.

The Website designer is the guardian of Qonto’s brand image, Design System, and success metrics. You will propose layouts and assets that combine our design guidelines with optimization and conversion goals, enabling you to extract learnings with our high-performance analytics tools.

By blending mastery of UI/UX practices and delightful asset design your playground will be responsive (mobile first of course), multicultural (over 8 different markets), and contain cohesive team players (from Growth Engineers to Conversion & SEO team).

As a Website Designer at Qonto, you will

• Deliver intuitive and scalable design, focusing on usability and experience, by keeping in mind our users' interests to come up with user-centric design solutions.
• Give life to the brand, define and deliver high-quality pages & visual assets, by conveying a seamless experience from ads to the app, from discovery to delivery.
• Guard and upgrade the system, by participating in the conception and enrichment of our Design System.
• Continuous improvement by working closely with the Growth & marketing team to extract learnings through regular A/B & test performance analyses and deploy an action plan.
• Grow and evolve, as you will engage with your peers on a daily basis by taking part in design challenges, work closely with various functions and being coached by your Manager (Roukaya) to keep growing your skills and talents on the field.
  
  

What You Can Expect

• Work with true website specialists and a variety of profiles including Growth Engineers, UX Writers, System Designers, and Conversion & SEO teams, helping you improve your craft and expand your expertise.
• Push creative boundaries, working on projects like website optimization, pricing calculators, and blog enhancement.
• Your designs will serve as the start of the funnel, crucial for prospects and the first step in conversion, significantly impacting customer and business outcomes in our hyper-growth environment with 60+ different nationalities.
• You'll use Figma, our in-house CMS (Qontent), Notion, Content Square, and Maze, with a budget aligned with our great ambition.
  
  

About your future manager

Roukaya, our Lead Brand Designer

• Her path? Starting at advertising agencies, she delivered print and digital campaigns for national and international clients. She then transitioned to UI/UX design, creating effective and engaging visual solutions. With a background in product design and art direction, she specializes in designing brand identities and user interfaces. Joining a few years ago as a Senior brand designer, and evolving towards the Expert path, she is now leading a growing team of six people.
• What she can bring to the team? An advocate of continuous improvement and design system approach, Roukaya has a passion for creative problem-solving and creating visual stories. She will encourage you to think outside the box, sharpen your curiosity about the importance of data as a design lever and help you deliver solutions that are both innovative and impactful. Dedicated and attentive, she strives to constantly accompany her team in their growth and progress.
  
  

About You

• Strong Digital Design Skills: With over 4 years of experience in web design and UI/UX, you possess advanced skills in web and visual design. You are proficient in Figma and have hands-on experience building websites from the ground up.
• Excellent analytical skills: You are data-driven and know how to generate creative ideas based on data insights, understanding how design decisions impact conversion metrics.
• Design System Expertise: You have experience developing and maintaining a Design System from scratch. You'll tackle the challenge of enhancing our system through innovative creation, beyond simple reuse.
• Sense of ownership: You successfully lead your projects and share your approach and expertise to continuously improve the team's work, adopting a "Right First Time" mindset.
• Great team player: You love solving problems with your teammates and working closely with other functions such as growth & design, local markets, and developers, communicating fluently in English to engage with all international team members.
