A leading SaaS company is seeking a Staff Engineer for their Prerender team. You will lead architectural initiatives, mentor engineers, and improve distributed rendering systems while ensuring high coding standards. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, strong skills in TypeScript/Node.js or Golang, and a coaching mindset. Enjoy ultimate flexibility working 100% remotely while contributing to impactful projects and innovative solutions across teams.
This role is part of our Prerender team, one of our growing brands at saas.group.
As a Staff Engineer at Prerender, you amplify effectiveness across teams, systems, and practices. You’re deeply hands‑on, but your biggest impact comes from enabling others to move faster, safer, and with greater confidence. You lead major architectural evolutions, coach engineers in XP principles, and help teams make sound technical decisions that scale across the organization.
This role combines strategic thinking with practical execution; you’ll shape the technical direction of our distributed rendering platform, align teams on shared goals, and create the conditions for consistent, high‑quality delivery.
If you’re motivated by simplifying complexity, raising the bar for technical excellence, and empowering others to do their best work, you’ll thrive here.
At Prerender, Staff Engineers influence through context, coaching, and example. You don’t gatekeep, you unblock, empower, and guide.
Bonus if you’ve worked in SEO, web performance, or large‑scale rendering infrastructure, but curiosity and adaptability matter more than specific domain expertise.
Prerender is part of saas.group and we have a shared goal of succeeding together.
