FamilyWell is the first behavioral health start-up to implement a perinatal collaborative care model that embeds a wrap-around mental health program directly into OB/GYN practices for pregnant and postpartum individuals. Our mission is to solve the maternal mental health crisis by increasing access to equitable, affordable, and accessible mental health care. Our specialized care team consists of social workers, coaches, therapists, and psychiatric providers in the OB provider’s clinical workflow (both in-person and virtually), ultimately becoming the behavioral health arm of the OB/GYN practice.

Job type: Part-time, 10-30 hours per week as a 1099/contractor
Compensation: $80 per 60-minute session (inclusive of intake and follow-up)
Provide individual tele-therapy to patients requesting regular sessions using FamilyWell’s virtual platform.
Conduct one-on-one psychological intakes for referred FamilyWell program patients, gathering comprehensive assessments to inform treatment planning.
Document patient progress comprehensively, sharing treatment recommendations with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other treating professionals as needed.
Facilitate treatment plan modifications for patients needing more intensive or specialized mental health care, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
Develop and deliver Care Plans post-session, offering patients actionable insights and follow-up steps.
Collaborate on relapse prevention self-management plans for patients nearing discharge, ensuring a structured approach to maintaining their mental health gains.
Licensures that qualify include the following:
For LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, formal perinatal mental health training or a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with pregnant and/or postpartum patients is strongly preferred.
Passionate and driven to improve perinatal mental healthcare delivery, especially for vulnerable patient populations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Commitment to patient-centered care and innovative mental health solutions.
Proficiency with tele-therapy platforms and virtual care delivery.
