Munich Re’s MGA/TPA Claims team manages and monitors the primary insurance claims portfolio.
Your role includes managing individual claims, monitoring and analyzing claims portfolios, performing audits, and collaborating with Underwriting (UW) to develop new business and improve portfolio performance. As a Claims expert, you will contribute to driving digital transformation in claims management and support new business initiatives to achieve MR Claims' Ambition 2025+.
Your Job
- Provide proactive monitoring and support to MGA/TPA on all claims-related matters, including conducting claims audits and due diligences in collaboration with Munich Re's international teams.
- Manage claims effectively within your responsibility area, using KPIs to evaluate account performance, estimate exposures, and identify key loss drivers.
- Offer expert guidance to client management and underwriting teams, providing feedback on claims trends, product development, and claims strategies, and advising on policy wording and best practices.
- Lead projects by managing workshops, facilitating meetings, and developing efficient claim processes, including first notice of loss, policy administration, fast track claims, estimates, subrogation, and litigation management.
Your Profile
- University degree and extensive professional experience in the European non-life insurance market, focusing on Motor, Property, and Casualty insurance.
- Deep knowledge and expertise in managing primary insurance claims, with a successful track record in handling complex claims.
- Strategic thinker with skills in analyzing claims processes, identifying issues, investigating solutions, and presenting recommendations effectively.
- Experience with digital claim services that can enhance client claims processes.
- Ability to work systematically and independently.
- Self-motivated with ownership mindset for project execution.
- Results and solutions-oriented, with excellent presentation, conflict-management skills, and a team-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel internationally, sometimes on short notice.
- Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English; German skills are an advantage.
