Your Responsibilities
We are seeking a new colleague to join our Scheduling Team at the UE Innovation Hub in Hamburg on a full-time basis (40 hours/week), starting as soon as possible.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Liaising with academic staff to determine, schedule, and coordinate staffing needs based on student numbers and program requirements.
- Scheduling all courses for the Hamburg location and supporting the Scheduling team at other campuses in Berlin, Hamburg, and Iserlohn if needed.
- Creating timetables for all degree programs at the Hamburg campus using CampusNet.
- Drawing up teaching assignments for freelance lecturers and ensuring onboarding.
- Supporting the academic team by calculating professorial quotas for individual study programs.
- Coordinating and editing timetables in cooperation with lecturers from all departments.
- Responding to student inquiries regarding scheduling matters in English and German.
- Reserving rooms for optimal planning based on availability, student numbers, and course needs, in compliance with safety protocols.
- Entering and managing data in the student administration system CampusNet.
