Regional Risk & Controls Business Partner, EMEA (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Regional ownership and coordination of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Risk & Controls program across EMEA
- Maintenance and continuous development of the regional risk framework, policies, governance structures, and tools
- Coordinate identification, assessment, prioritization, and documentation of prospective and realized enterprise risks
- Facilitation of risk assessments, mitigation planning, and action tracking with regional risk owners and assurance teams
- Preparation of risk reporting, dashboards, trends, and insights for senior management, Board, and global stakeholders
- Coordination and facilitation of regional Risk Assurance & Compliance Committee and risk owner meetings
- Development and delivery of Risk & Controls and ERM trainings for targeted stakeholders
- Monitoring and development of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Collaboration with Risk Coordinators across the organization
- Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives, projects, and regional programs (e.g., business continuity, internal controls)
Your qualification
- Academic degree in business, economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Several years of experience (approx. 3–5 years) in Risk & Controls or Enterprise Risk Management in an international, multi-jurisdictional environment
- Solid understanding of governance, risk, compliance, and regulatory expectations; regulator interaction experience is an asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complexity and provide pragmatic, actionable solutions
- Proven stakeholder management, collaboration, and facilitation skills across diverse cultures and functions
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and sound judgment in ambiguous situations
- Structured, proactive working style with the ability to prioritize and drive results under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal; additional languages are a plus
- Openness to continuous learning, innovation, and improvement in risk management practices
- Willingness to occasional travel internationally and work in a global, virtual team environment
