Survey Crew Chief – Grande Prairie, AB
We are seeking a Survey Crew Chief who ideally has experience in the Construction and Energy Survey sector and a desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.
The Work:
- Survey facilities, layouts, piles, and grading on various construction sites
- Survey wellsite, pipeline right-of-ways, and pipeline integrity projects on various oil and gas sites
- Willing and able to travel as shift work may last up to 21 days
- Work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
- Follow safety protocols
- Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants
- Prepare clear, concise, and accurate field notes, records, and calculations
What you bring to the table:
- Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external
- Desire for excellence in all that you do
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to liaise with clients
- Creativity
- A degree/diploma from a technical college in Geomatics
- Experience leading a construction survey crew
- Experience performing precise layout and control surveys
- Experience working on industrial and commercial construction sites
