This is a two-month contract opportunity for a Production Scheduler, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business requirements. The role provides an excellent chance to support production operations in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the efficiency of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize efficiency.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure materials and resources are available as needed.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as required to address delays or changes in priorities.
• Communicate with various departments to ensure alignment on production timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, changes, and status updates.
• Analyze production capacity and propose adjustments to meet demand fluctuations.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and identify areas for improvement in the scheduling process.
• Ensure all production activities are in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Prepare and generate reports on production status and efficiency metrics.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in production scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing production requirements and priorities.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling scheduling challenges.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• A background in production or operations management is preferred.
• A degree or diploma in supply chain management, operations, or a related field is an asset.
