The Department of Curriculum Studies in the College of Education and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for an Out-of-Scope Sessional Lecturer to teach the following community-based courses during the 2025-2026 session:
Course Details:
- Course Number, Section, and Name: EIND 220.6 (E11) Advanced Oral and Written Cree
- Term and Course Dates: Term 1 and Term 2 (September 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026)
- CRN: 91258 and 31929
- Delivery Mode: Lecture (Live in-person in Beauval, SK)
- Course Schedule: Days and times to be determined in consultation with the successful applicant; Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no evenings or weekends without special permission.
- Expected Enrollment Limit: 35
- Location: Beauval, SK (approx. 4 hours N of Saskatoon)
Qualifications: Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Education or related discipline, with relevant teaching or professional experience. Knowledge of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit cultures, as well as socio-economic and pedagogical factors related to teaching these students, is required.
A valid driver’s license is required for off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be canceled due to low enrollment.
