FIRST NATIONS UNIVERSITY OF CANADA – Nomination/Applications for Board of Governors

The First Nations University of Canada is seeking applications or nominations for the Board of Governors. The nominations or applications should include a cover letter clearly stating the areas of expertise and reasons for interest along with a curriculum vitae or resume.

Qualifications:
The Selection Committee will endeavour to select board members with the following areas of expertise: Governance, business and general management; Financial management; Academic (university policies and processes); Academic (education administration); First Nations education (15-20 years teaching experience); Community-based traditional knowledge keeper or educator (knowledge about indigenous governance, language and traditional knowledge); Institutional fund development; Corporate law; and Labour relations.

Only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.
