Job summary

Qualifications

  • Considerable experience working in horticulture or a golf course setting.
  • Must have a valid Province of Ontario Class 'G' Driver’s License.
  • Familiarity with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and WHMIS.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain golf courses and facilities to departmental standards.
  • Operate equipment related to golf course maintenance safely.
  • Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment.

Skills

Experience in horticulture
Ability to operate grass cutting equipment
Experience with automated irrigation systems
Knowledge of golf course operations
Ability to work with minimal supervision
