Join our Revenue Assurance team as a Business Analyst II and drive exceptional financial performance through strategic TV vendor settlement optimization. In this pivotal role, we're seeking a results-driven analytical professional who thrives on applying sophisticated techniques to reduce revenue leakage, maximize operational efficiency, and bridge strategic alignment between business and technical teams.Apply your analytical and Excel expertise at the heart of TV settlement transformation while protecting multi-million dollar monthly revenue streams
What you’ll do
Review TELUS TV contracts and billing data to calculate and prepare payments for content providers, tariff associations, and key partners
Analyze billing systems and contracts to identify and resolve vendor payment discrepancies and internal data issues
Build SQL queries and Excel models to track payment trends and update leadership dashboards for cost monitoring
Design and monitor preventive and detective controls to minimize revenue leakage, over-billing, and discrepancies in TV vendor settlements
Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to implement new TV packages, resolve billing questions, and provide profitability insights
Document and standardize existing revenue assurance and settlement processes
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or Computer Science
5 years’ of experience in revenue assurance(RA), financial systems, or business analysis in telecom or a similar industry
Advanced Excel (Power Query, VBA), SQL (Oracle/GCP)
Strong understanding of telecom revenue streams, billing systems, and settlement logic
Strong knowledge of RA best practices and telecom business operations
Self-driven collaborator with strong problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities across Finance, Product, Marketing, and Legal teams
Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in complex, high-risk initiatives through effective cross-functional partnership
Great-to-haves
CPA or process improvement certifications
Tableau/Power BI
Salary Range: $64,000-$96,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 10%
