Job Overview: We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Technician to join our Product Development and Automation team. In this role, you will help bring innovative automation and product development projects to life. • Design, assemble, and troubleshoot industrial electrical control panels in compliance with UL / CSA standards.
• Build and wire motor control cabinets and automation enclosures.
• Perform detailed wiring, terminations, and harness assembly for complex equipment.
• Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate builds.
• Select and integrate components such as PLCs, sensors, relays, and drives.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system faults (in-house and on-site).
• Commission equipment and provide professional field service support to customers.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on production and R&D systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation and labeling for all system components.

• Diploma in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical panel assembly, machine wiring, or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and configuration tools (Windows-based).
• Familiarity with Siemens or Allen-Bradley automation systems (asset).
• Skilled in using electrical test instruments and precision mechanical tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks Electrical or other electrical CAD software (asset).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for installation and support.
