A leading environmental services company is seeking a Senior Hydrologist to join their team in British Columbia. This role focuses on mining water management, requiring a strong background in hydrology and water resources. The successful candidate will lead projects, develop management plans, and mentor junior staff. A Master’s or Doctorate in Geoscience or Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience are required. The position is full time with a competitive salary and benefits package.

The Water Resources Group has an opportunity for a Senior Hydrologist or Water Resources in British Columbia to join our growing team of water resources specialists, engineers, and scientists with a strong focus on mining water management. The position will ideally be located in either Burnaby, Victoria, or Sidney, British Columbia but there is flexibility for our other offices in British Columbia.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
