Arobas Personnel is currently looking for a Solution Architect for a contract opportunity with one of our clients based in Montreal.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Supervise implementation activities and test planning to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Oversee the development and validation of user stories and test cases to preserve product integrity and performance.
• Lead test execution, defect reporting, and resolution to maintain high product standards.

Mobile Front-End Architecture Focus:

• Define and oversee the architecture of mobile applications using Hybrid React Native and native platforms (iOS, Android).
• Ensure the security of mobile applications, which serve as key customer touchpoints for the bank.
• Collaborate with Domain Architects to align mobile architecture with the broader enterprise landscape.

Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) Focus:

• Manage orchestration services built in GoLang to support mobile front-end experiences.
• Ensure smooth communication and integration between front-end and back-end systems.

What are we looking for?

• Solid experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar role in a technical environment, especially in developing and managing Solution Architecture artifacts.
• Strong grasp of software development lifecycles, architecture principles, and project management best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or at least five (5) years of related experience.
• Background as a Solution Architect in the Cards domain.
• Familiarity with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Data Security standards.
• Knowledge of security protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID).
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
