Job summary

A manufacturing company in Toronto is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure maximum uptime for production machinery. The role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, and repairing equipment. Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Capable of lifting heavy equipment, standing for long periods, bending, and working at heights.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent failures.
  • Diagnose, disassemble, and repair production machinery.
  • Adhere to OSHA regulations and maintain safety protocols.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and document repairs.
  • Set up and commission new manufacturing equipment.
