Digital Risk Engine (DRE) Senior Development and Control Manager will join a centre of excellence team that contributes to the risk management, digital automation, and risk reward optimization of the Canadian Retail Bank by managing and assisting in the technical design, implementation, validation, documentation, and governance of credit risk strategy and policy deployments within Scotiabank’s Canadian credit decision platforms. The candidate will be expected to work closely with portfolio risk strategy/policy teams, centre of excellence teams, and functional teams across first line and second line of defence. In addition, the candidate will be expected to drive continuous improvement in technology design, deployment/testing techniques, operating processes, and best practices around technical system usage, in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
