Caseload Case Manager – Corrections & Community Support
Job summary
A community support organization in Halifax seeks a dedicated individual to manage resident caseload, ensuring compliance with Parole conditions while providing support and counseling. The ideal candidate will have a degree in social sciences and relevant experience, possessing strong communication and problem-solving skills. Compensation ranges from $19.67 to $24.59, based on qualifications and experience. This role requires an ability to work collaboratively and foster trust among residents.
Qualifications
- Must secure and maintain Canadian Reliability Clearance.
- 1 year working experience in social service field, preferably corrections.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage caseload and lead case meetings.
- Prepare and present case management reports.
- Counsel residents and build trust.
