Long-Term Care Recreation Facilitator - Day Shift (Term)
Job summary
A regional health organization in Manitoba is looking for a Recreation Facilitator to provide quality recreation programs for elderly residents. Candidates should have experience in program planning and implementation. A relevant degree or certificate is required, along with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork. Knowledge of English is necessary, and a Food Handler’s Certificate is essential. The role is in-person and demands a current Criminal Records Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
Qualifications
- Completion of a relevant certificate or degree.
- Creative and able to engage effectively with the elderly.
- Physical health sufficient for job requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate recreation programs.
