A regional health authority in La Ronge seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to develop therapy plans for clients and monitor their progress. This role emphasizes supporting diverse populations, including infants and adults with speech language disorders. Candidates need a Master's in Speech Language Pathology and at least two years of relevant experience. A valid Class 5 driver's license is required. The position offers full-time hours with potential incentives for recruitment and retention.
The Regional Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) develops speech language therapy plans for clients, guides and supports them and/or their caregivers in the implementation of these plans, and monitors client progress thereafter. The SLP works with, and provides support, resources, tools and referrals for, clients who have speech language delays or disorders, and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Clients of the SLP are infants, preschool age children, and adults who have a speech language delay or disorder and/or who are suspected of having or have been diagnosed with ASD. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.
