• Maintien des actifs et inspection du Pont de Québec;
• Conception de l’échangeur Turcot, dont le pont haubané du canal de Lachine;
• Évaluations sismiques des ponts Jacques‑Cartier, Clément, Honoré‑Mercher, Alexandra (Ottawa) et Prince‑of‑Wales (Ottawa);
• Réfection majeure du pont‑tunnel Louis‑H.’La Fontaine et des tunnels Ville‑Marie et Viger;
• Construction du pont international Gordie‑Howe (Ontario), à titre d’ingénieur du propriétaire;
• Déconstruction du pont Champlain;
• Plusieurs autres projets en mode alternatif à venir en 2025 au Québec et au Canada où Parsons a agi à titre de concepteur en chef, d’ingénieur du propriétaire ou de certificateur indépendant.

Actuellement, l’équipe de Ponts et Tunnels est à la recherche d'un Ingénieur chef de chantier - Ponts et tunnels pour se joindre à notre bureau de Québec.

• Baccalauréat en génie civil (spécialisation en structures un atout)
• 10+ années d'expérience professionnelle en gestion d’équipe multidisciplinaires
• Connaissance des normes des santé et sécurité applicables (Québec, Canada)
• Un intérêt pour la réalisation d’activités en accès sur corde
• Connaissance de la plateforme Adobe Construction Cloud un atout.
• Membre de l’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec ou d’une autre province Canadienne
• Les certifications du MTMD (conception, inspection, entretien, construction et réparation des structures, etc.) sont un atout

• Planifier la réalisation des inspection visuelles, détaillées et spéciales requises par le projet
• Établir les besoins annuels de l’équipe d’inspection (bureaux de chantier, entreposage du matériel de corde, installations sanitaire, matériel d’inspection, matériel de sécurité, équipements de communication, etc.)
• Participer à la préparation du plan de travail annuel, incluant les estimés budgétaires associés
• Diriger les opérations quotidiennes pendant toute la durée des inspections (10 à 20 semaines)
• Participer aux rencontres quotidiennes de coordination avec les partenaires (entrepreneur, MTMD, CN, Voie maritime, etc.) et les clients
• Effectuer les démarches nécessaires afin d’assurer la présence de signaleurs du CN pendant toute la durée des inspections.
• Faire preuve d’un leadership positif afin d’assurer la cohésion et la bonne performance de l’équipe d’inspection.
• Suivre quotidiennement la progression des inspections afin d’assurer le respect du budget, de l’échéancier et de la qualité des livrables.

• Développer vos compétences professionnelles:
  • Obtenir votre Certification en techniques d'accès sur corde (ex. : IRATA ou SPRAT) et acquisition de compétences spécialisées en inspection et en accès sur corde
  • Opportunité de travailler sur des projets uniques et complexes, souvent emblématiques (ponts historiques, grandes infrastructures).
  • Participer à la préparation et la vérification des livrables (études d’opportunité et d’avant-projets, devis, estimations et échéancier des travaux, etc.).

La connaissance du français est requise pour les postes situés en permanence au Québec afin que le titulaire puisse communiquer au besoin avec ses collègues et partenaires au Québec. Une formation en français est offerte à tout titulaire d’un poste permanent au Québec qui ne possède pas une bonne connaissance du français.

La maîtrise de l’anglais est requise pour ce poste afin de communiquer avec les collègues, les clients et les partenaires (ou les fournisseurs) situés à l’extérieur du Québec, et de comprendre la documentation technique et scientifique disponible dans le domaine de notre industrie.

• Inspection of Québec Bridge, Quebec
• Design of Turcot Interchange, including the cable‑stayed bridge over the Lachine Canal
• Seismic assessments of the Jacques‑Cartier, Clément, Honoré‑Mercher, Alexandra (Ottawa) and Prince‑of‑Wales (Ottawa) bridges
• Major rehabilitation of the Louis‑H.’La Fontaine bridge‑tunnel and the Ville‑Marie and Viger tunnels;
• Construction of the Gordie‑Howe International Bridge (Ontario), as owner's engineer;
• Deconstruction of the Champlain Bridge
• Several other alternative‑mode projects are planned for 2025 in Quebec and Canada, where Parsons has acted as lead designer, owner's engineer or independent certifier.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (specialization in structures is an asset)
• 10+ years of professional experience in multidisciplinary team management
• Knowledge of applicable health and safety standards (Provincial and Federal)
• Interest in rope access activities
• Knowledge of adobe construction cloud is an asset
• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec or another Canadian province
• MTMD certifications (design, inspection, maintenance, construction, and repair of structures, etc.) are an asset

• Plan the visual, detailed, and special inspections required by the project
• Establish the annual needs of the inspection team (site offices, rope equipment storage, sanitary facilities, inspection equipment, safety equipment, communication equipment, etc.)
• Participate in the preparation of the annual work plan, including associated budget estimates
• Direct daily operations throughout the duration of the inspections (10 to 20 weeks)
• Participate in daily coordination meetings with partners (contractor, MTMD, CN, Seaway, etc.) and clients
• Take the necessary steps to ensure the presence of CN flaggers throughout the inspections.
• Demonstrate positive leadership to ensure the cohesion and good performance of the inspection team.
• Monitor the progress of inspections on a daily basis to ensure compliance with the budget, schedule, and quality of deliverables.

• Professional Development:
  • Obtain your Rope Access Certification (e.g., IRATA or SPRAT) and acquire specialized skills in inspection and rope access techniques.

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and partners in Quebec as necessary. French-language training is offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French.

Other language requirement

Fluent English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, clients and partners (or suppliers) located outside Quebec and to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry.
