Job summary
A leading rental housing provider in Toronto is seeking a Receiving Coordinator (Dock Master) to oversee daily dock operations across various facilities. The role involves supervising loading/unloading, scheduling dock use, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should possess strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in dock operations and a physical ability to handle related tasks. This full-time position is primarily onsite and will contribute to smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in dock or warehouse operations, preferably in a commercial or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of loading dock safety and logistics processes.
- Physical ability to perform tasks associated with loading and unloading.
Responsibilities
- Supervise loading/unloading and coordinate shipments.
- Schedule dock space to ensure timely delivery flow.
- Inspect dock equipment and ensure safety compliance.
- Train dock staff on safe handling procedures.
