What you will be doing :
As a Data Project Coordinator, you will oversee and manage data-centric projects, focusing on analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights. Your role is crucial in ensuring these initiatives align with business objectives and provide valuable insights to stakeholders. You will coordinate multiple activities, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various tasks effectively. A passion for Data and Artificial Intelligence is essential to streamline activities and drive success and innovation.
Responsibilities :
- Engage with business stakeholders to identify and document reporting needs, translating them into clear data and reporting requirements.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring insights are accurately reflected in reporting solutions.
- Coordinate and support teams including BI Developers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers.
- Facilitate task assignments, support team members, and promote a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure project tasks are completed according to plan.
- Track progress, address issues, and help achieve milestones within budget and timeline.
- Support quality assurance through reviews and audits of deliverables.
- Address quality issues promptly and coordinate corrective actions.
- Manage escalations by mobilizing resources and involving senior leadership when necessary.
- Assist in decision-making and issue resolution to keep projects on track.
- Prepare dashboards and updates for Directors and senior stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress.
- Promote continuous improvement by seeking opportunities to enhance practices and procedures.
- Support the Director in implementing best practices, frameworks, and tools for consistent project management.
What you’ll bring :
- 3-5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, managing complex, cross-organizational enterprise projects with a solid understanding of organizational structures and processes.
- Hands-on project execution and stakeholder engagement skills, with effective communication across all levels.
- Strong executive presence, credibility, and trust-building abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with demonstrated relationship-building across stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to develop effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and remain flexible.
- Proficiency in SQL, report development, and data analysis, with experience in Data Lakes, Data Marts, Data Warehouses.
- Knowledge of GitHub for version control and BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik.
