Sign in Sign up for a Plus accountWe are looking for a Financial Analyst reporting to the Head of Finance. As a Financial Analyst, you will work within the Product Manufacturing, Systems and Manufacturing Technologies strategic team.
YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Developing business cases for the manufacturing phase of new products and new manufacturing plant projects.
Financial follow-up of manufacturing transformation with respect to the electrification of BRP vehicles.
Elaborating financial analyses for manufacturing strategy decisions regarding components to be made in BRP's manufacturing plants.
Supporting the team with follow-up on costs for different projects (Manufacturing, System, Technological) and the justification of variances.
Supporting the team in the decision-making process of important projects.
Preparing financial presentations to senior management for strategic decisions, monthly results and budgets.
You will also:
Demonstrate an excellent understanding of our data sources.
Demonstrate creativity in modelling performance indicators.
Develop automation and access to reporting
Support the group by producing and proposing innovative solutions to meet the needs identified by the team.
Identify analytical opportunities/solutions to be integrated into the department for greater efficiency.
Keep up to date with new analytical trends
Ensure the proper functioning of the tools in place and coach and train team members to ensure the appropriate level of knowledge and expertise.
YOU?LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Excel and power point skills (essential)
A bachelor's or master's degree in finance or accounting.
Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity and the ability to synthesize.
Computer knowledge (Office Suite, SAP, Google Suite).
Knowledge of SQL and VBA would be an asset.
Knowledge of BI tools (particularly Power BI and Tableau) would be an asset.
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, to advise internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec on a daily basis
Good leadership skills & team player.
