A well-known restaurant chain in Fort McMurray, Alberta, is looking for a Supervisor to oversee food preparation staff and ensure quality standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and be fluent in English. This role involves training staff, addressing customer concerns, and maintaining records.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervising and co-ordinating staff activities.
- Training staff in job duties and safety procedures.
- Estimating ingredient and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensuring food and service quality standards.
- Addressing customer complaints.
- Maintaining records of stock and sales.
- Preparing and submitting reports.
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers\' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
