Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education:
    • Minimum: Post-secondary diploma or trade certification in industrial technology, engineering, or a related field.
    • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, forestry, or business administration
  • Experience:
    • Minimum: 4+ years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
    • Preferred: Experience in industrial or sawmill operations.
  • Certifications:

    • Preferred: Relevant safety or industry certifications.

  • Lead and Engage a High-Performance Team: Direct and inspire a production team of 16-20 employees, fostering collaboration and accountability to meet performance goals.
  • Ensure Quality, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Uphold production processes that meet quality, safety, and environmental standards, creating a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Optimize Production Resources: Monitor productivity, adjust tasks and scheduling, and efficiently allocate resources to meet production targets.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Coach and support team members in enhancing their skills and professional growth through performance management and development programs.
  • Support Administrative Operations: Manage scheduling, payroll processing, and daily reporting to maintain efficient operations.
