JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement skills development strategies and programs to support operators, technicians and managers in all stages of their careers in operations and ensure they have the necessary tools to progress and reach their full potential;
- Complete administrative tasks around payroll, office supplies inventory, simple event coordination, volunteer initiatives, management systems tool updates, and othersitems as needed
- Work with a teamof team members responsible for leading training activities in each of the brewery's departments
- Manage development and training programs, as well as related documentation, with monitoring tools, in line with the brewery's immediate needs and strategic goals
- Liaise with managers and teams in operational departments to determine learning needs
- Determine the approach and strategy for the implementation of the various training and development activities according to the needs identified
- Develop relevant training content related to the business needs identified, whether for training on the various workstations, the acquisition of new skills, or even related to each person's career aspirations
- Identify internal and external partners, trainers or speakers to meet our skills development needs and ensure the quality of the content and educational approach
- With the participation of your team, ensure that the library of training materials (Acadia) is up-to-date and accessible to all brewery employees
- Manage the brewery's training budget
- Stay on top of best practices and market trends in training and development
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree required in human resources management, education, operations management or other related degree
- Three years of relevant experience in training management preferred, preferably in a production environment
- Familiarity with unionized environments an asset
- Strong ability to use root cause analysis to solve problems related to training or skills development in an operational environment and ability to take action quickly. Lean Six Sigma and lean manufacturing certifications considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and influence skills in a fast-paced environment with varying priorities
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Robust knowledge of the Workday HR system is considered an asset
