We’re looking for a Sales Engineer who is energized by bridging the gap between technical expertise and revenue generation and excited to accelerate sales through tailored solution design, strategic product enablement, and AI-driven sales support. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeed—while shaping the future of AI for local economies.

Your Impact:

As a Sales Engineer, you'll work with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and cross-functional teams to:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Vendasta’s platform, leading tailored product demos, developing scalable solution templates, and enabling AI-powered sales workflows.
  • Collaborate with sellers to assess client needs, co-design technical solutions, and influence sales strategy through proposal development, discovery participation, and integration mapping.
  • Create and deliver internal enablement resources such as demo scripts, AI prompt libraries, and objection-handling guides, while equipping sales teams with the tools and training to confidently sell AI-driven solutions.
What you bring to the table:

You bring deep expertise in SaaS platforms, strong pre-sales experience, and the ability to translate technical details into compelling business outcomes. You’re a self-starter with excellent presentation skills and a track record of supporting complex sales motions.

Must-have experience includes:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years in a Sales Engineer, Solution Consultant, or Pre-Sales role (preferably in B2B SaaS).
  • Proficiency in platform configuration, sales solutioning, and enterprise integrations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, AI demo tools, and sales engagement platforms like Gong or Outreach.
  • Strong storytelling ability and fluency in generating AI-powered content and demos.
  • Experience supporting large deal cycles and aligning closely with product and engineering teams to inform roadmap planning.
