On-Site Renewable Generation Student - Summer Ops & Admin
Job summary
A leading energy provider in Ontario is seeking students for its Renewable Generation Student Program. This role involves contributing to operations at hydroelectric or thermal power generation stations. Responsibilities include cleaning, maintenance tasks, and clerical work. The candidate must have completed at least their first year at a university or college. This is an on-site position based in Timmins, offering a salary range of $24.70 - $28.50 per hour, with a contract lasting four to eight months.
Qualifications
- Ability to work on-site daily at the specified work location.
- Minimum completion of 1st year at a University or College.
- Preferred prior work experience that requires practical hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties as directed.
- Assist in routine tasks involving moving and servicing equipment.
- Stock storerooms and maintain supplies.
- Perform administrative/clerical tasks as assigned.
