Job summary
A regional health provider in Oshawa, Ontario is seeking an Assistant Chef to prepare and organize meals for long term care residents. Ideal candidates will have a Culinary Management Diploma or equivalent, a valid Food Handler Certificate, and 2 years of cooking experience. Responsibilities include maintaining food safety standards, following established menus, and ensuring a safe kitchen environment. The hourly salary ranges from $30.05 to $31.15, with additional conditions for employment.
Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Culinary Management Diploma or a Journeyman's Cook's Certification.
- A valid/approved Food Handler Certificate obtained within the past 5 years.
- Minimum 2 years recent quantity cooking experience.
Responsibilities
