Arc’teryx is looking for a Retail Community Marketing Manager to drive brand presence within the Japan market through community outreach, sponsorship, social communities, media and events. The goal is to consistently create top of mind traffic from the core user; support all local event activation for our key B2B partners; and strive to raise brand awareness and engagement throughout the market.

The Brand Marketing team is the direct connection between the guest and the Arc’teryx brand through content and experience. We work in lockstep with our Global Marketing Team, Digital Marketing as well as our Partners and Agencies to create experiences and tell stories that are relevant, thought-provoking and true to who we are.

• 日本のマーケティングマネージャーおよびマーケティングチームと連携し、日本市場の戦略・目標およびグローバル目標に整合したローカライズされたコミュニティマーケティングプランを策定する。
• スポーツ協会、クラブ、クライミングジム、アスリート、ガイド、B2Bリテールパートナーとのネットワークを構築・維持する。
• 地域におけるブランド代表として活動するブランドストアアンバサダーの採用・マネジメントを行う。
• ブランドカレンダーに沿った店舗コミュニティイベントを実施し、市場でのブランドエンゲージメントを最大化する。
• ローカルのB2Bリテールパートナーと協働し、イベントおよびコミュニティマーケティングを推進する。
• リテールチームのストアマネージャーおよびエリアマネージャーと連携し、シーズンごとのコミュニティプランを計画・実施する。
• コミュニティエンゲージメントおよびイベントに関する月次レポートを作成する。
• ブランドストア従業員に対し、Arc’teryxが関わる主要スポーツ分野への週次参加機会を確保する。
• コミュニティマーケティングの年間予算を管理する。

• Together with Marketing Manager (Japan), and Japan marketing team, develop a localized Community marketing plan aligned with Japan local strategy/objectives and global objectives
• Network with sports associations, clubs, climbing gyms, athletes, guides and B2B retail partners
• Onboard and manage a team of Brand Store Ambassadors to represent Arc’teryx in the region
• Execute brand store community events aligned with the brand consumer calendar to maximize brand engagement in the marketplace
• Collaborate with local B2B retail partners on event and community marketing
• Works with Brand Store Managers and Area Managers to implement local seasonal PR plan
• Produce monthly reports on community engagement and events
• Securing weekly participation opportunity in key Arc’teryx sports for all Brand Store employees
• Manage Community Marketing budget

• 類似するアウトドアアパレル企業におけるコミュニティマーケティングまたはリテール業務での3年以上の経験
• Arc’teryx製品が対象とするアクティビティ（クライミング、トレイル、スノー）への理解と実践経験
• 日本国内におけるクラブ、クライミングジム、各種団体との既存ネットワーク
• 高いコミュニケーション能力・対人スキル
• 優れた問題解決能力
• 複数業務を並行して進行し、他部門と効果的に協働できるスキル
• 前向きで柔軟な姿勢、“Can-Do”マインド
• プロジェクトマネジメントおよびクロスファンクショナル経験
• Microsoft Officeの操作スキル
• マーケティング関連の高等教育（学士号等）
• 日本のリテール環境およびアウトドア・スポーツ用品市場の知識

• 3+ years in Community Marketing or retail for similar outdoor apparel companies
• Participation and understanding of activities we make products for (climb, trail, snow)
• Pre-existing network of clubs, climbing gyms, and associations in Japan
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate with other team members effectively
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Demonstrated project management and cross functional experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Post-secondary education in Marketing
• Knowledge of the retail environment and sports oft goods landscape in Japan
