As an enterprise AI team, you will have continuous opportunities to learn and solve meaningful problems across domains such as Cyber Security, Capital Markets, Technology & Operations ,Personal and Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Crime, Enterprise Risk, Legal / Audit Compliance, AIOps, HR Analytics, ESG Investing / Analysis, and Climate Analytics. You will also help build enterprise-grade scalable AI solutions.

As a Senior Manager, Data Science & AI, you will lead strategic initiatives, build data-driven solutions with measurable impact, define standards, and foster knowledge sharing and collaboration to help realize our vision.

What’s In It For You

In this role, you will advance BMO’s Digital First strategy by providing leadership across business, data science, AI, and technology.

You will apply advanced analytics and AI techniques (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence) to deliver better predictions and intelligent automation. This enables smarter decisions, improved customer experiences, and increased productivity. You will also drive innovation through the development of reusable Data & AI products and the establishment of best practices.

You will have the opportunity to shape BMO’s Generative AI strategy by building reusable components, prompt engineering frameworks, and scalable pipelines that power intelligent automation and personalized experiences across the bank.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong research mindset, coding ability, integration skills, execution focus, and forward thinking
• Relentless curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to challenge the status quo
• Deep knowledge of the data science, AI, and Generative AI landscape, with hands-on experience designing, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models (LLMs) and multimodal models in production environments
• Ability to shape advanced conceptual thinking to solve complex, novel problems
• A collaborative partner who fosters strong stakeholder engagement

Note : This role can be performed fully remotely from anywhere in Canada, provided the candidate is available during core Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.

Salary :

100,800.00 - $187,200.00

Pay Type : Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
