Are you an experienced AV sales professional with a proven track record of delivering tailored audio-visual solutions to public sector clients?

Join Best Buy Business as we expand our impact and continue our journey of growth and innovation.

We are looking for a strategic business partner – AV to drive meaningful partnerships, provide expert AV consultation, and help us grow our presence in the public sectors.

We follow a remote-first work model, using in-person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social engagement. Ideal candidates will be based in Toronto or Ottawa, with travel to Ottawa required for meetings as per business needs.

Join our collaborative team as a strategic account manager-AV!

What you’ll do:

  • Sells consultatively and making recommendations to both new prospects & existing clients on the various solutions the company offers to satisfy their AV business needs
  • Accountable for achieving their budgeted commercial sales goals
  • Build and maintains relationships with public sector representatives, educational institutions and a variety of other organizations
  • Lead complex negotiations and present confidently to key decision-makers and internal stakeholders
  • Partner effectively with all teams, including peer account managers, operations, business development and Geek Squad
  • Works with vendor partners to create the best solutions for customers
  • Stay up to date on new products and solutions and work with vendor reps to support presentations and demos
  • Seek to grow vendor AV accreditations in order to deepen industry knowledge

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience selling AV solutions to public sector clients
  • Bilingual (English and French) is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the AV industry, including current products, trends, and solution-based selling
  • Bachelor's degree, associate degree, or equivalent education in Sales, Purchasing, Technology, or Business Development is preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to act as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Highly motivated, professional, and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Diriger des négociations complexes et les présenter avec confiance aux décideurs clés et aux intervenants internes.
  • Collaborer efficacement avec toutes les équipes, y compris les gestionnaires de comptes pairs, les opérations, le développement des affaires et la Geek Squad.
  • Travailler avec nos partenaires fournisseurs pour créer les meilleures solutions pour nos clients.
  • Rester au courant des nouveaux produits et des nouvelles solutions et travailler avec les représentants des fournisseurs pour soutenir les présentations et les démonstrations.
  • Chercher à accroître les accréditations audiovisuelles des fournisseurs afin d’approfondir les connaissances de l’industrie.

Ce que nous recherchons:

  • Plus de 8 ans d’expérience dans la vente de solutions audiovisuelles à des clients du secteur public
  • Le bilinguisme (anglais et français) est préférable.
  • Solide connaissance de l’industrie audiovisuelle, y compris les produits actuels, les tendances et la vente basée sur les solutions.
  • Un baccalauréat, un diplôme d’associé ou une formation équivalente en vente, en achat, en technologie ou en développement des affaires est préférable.
  • Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication et la présentation et capacité à agir en tant que conseiller de confiance auprès des clients.
