A regional fire safety organization in Portage la Prairie is seeking an Executive Director to oversee daily operations, maintain member communications, and manage administrative tasks. The Manitoba Association of Fire Chiefs (MAFC) is seeking an energetic individual who likes new challenges to become our Executive Director.
The Executive Director reports to the President, acts as Secretary/Treasurer of the Board and is responsible for the day to day operation of the organization. Maintaining communications and acting in an advisory capacity to the membership through the Executive and Board of Directors are key functions of the Executive Director. Administrative duties shall include the maintenance of all of the Association’s books and records. MAFC website updates are a typical responsibility as well. On average it would be 10‐15 hours per week with the potential of an increase in hours pre‐conference. This position would be a work from home position.
