Sr. Consultant

Your Impact

You will work in a highly motivated team together with Sales Experts, Solution Consultants, and OpenText partners in the Italian and Central and Western European area. With a lot of personal responsibility, you will closely work with the customers to present, develop, and implement OpenText solutions by using your excellent communication skills and technical competence.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Performing requirement analysis for the prospects and customers by investigating the business processes and identifying the potential Information Management solution suitable
• Consulting our customers based on best-practice approaches for our products
• Creating solution design and concepts for implementation and for customizations of our software
• Designing and implementing data models best suited to our customers’ requirements
• Implementing Information Management solutions, including advanced configuration of content types and business processes as well as customization based on APIs, ensuring alignment with client needs and delivering high-quality results
• Taking an important, active part in the Information Management projects together with the Client Directors, Project Leads and the Consultant team
• Advising the customer to utilize AI solutions from OpenText to maximize the benefit of the content in Information Management

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• You have a university/college degree, ideally in computer science or business administration, and/or at least 5 years of experience as a programmer, software engineer, IT Consultant, etc.
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills and experience identifying options for improvement, and both designing and implementing Information Management solutions accordingly
• Familiarity with IT architecture, including client/server technologies, Operating Systems, databases, and cloud technology
• Basic knowledge of core OpenText products (especially Documentum, OpenText Content Management, and Information Archive) is optional, but would be a great asset
• Experience working with government customers and designing and implementing solutions for government information management and processes would be a very helpful additional asset
• You are willing to travel occasionally within Italy
• Fluent Italian Language skills, both written and spoken, as well as very good English skills
