PURPOSE/OVERVIEW: To provide administrative coordination for Thrive as it supports congregations and local ministry leaders.
This role is designed to fill a Maternity Leave vacancy until September 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Administer event logistics and collaborate with staff in planning and execution of events, training, meetings, travel, etc. including researching and recommending event venues.
- Communicate and foster relationships with pastors, ministry leaders, and congregations.
- Prepare/assist in the preparation of presentations and reports.
- Prepare and process invoices, check requests, and expense reports.
- Provide administrative assistance to Thrive staff.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as may be assigned by Team Leader - Operations.
- Provide administrative support to the directors of Thrive.
- Assist with maintaining the director's calendars, email correspondence, travel, call screening, meeting scheduling, and logistics.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for boards, Synod, and various committees. Communicate with others on behalf of the director, as requested.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent event planning skills.
- Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures is preferred.
- Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in commonly used computer applications.
- Demonstrated maturity and ability to perform well under stress.
- Proven ability to be self-motivated, work independently with minimal direction and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven ability to plan and organize tasks and responsibilities including multitasking, setting priorities and deadlines, etc., and very attentive to detail.
- Ability and willingness to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and external contacts.
- Possess a commitment to Christ and the mission of the church, with an understanding of church structure preferred.
- Possess a deserved reputation for integrity and trust.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate degree/some college work required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Considerable experience in administrative/project coordination is required.
