Job summary
A leading mental health organization in Canada is seeking a Mental Health Care Coordinator for an entry-level position. You will coordinate Employee and Family Assistance Program services and ensure clients are matched with appropriate professionals. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and French, with strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This role offers work-from-home opportunities and supports career progression.
Qualifications
- University degree is preferable; however, a combination of experience and related education will be taken into consideration.
- English language skills are required as this role supports both French and English speaking clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) services.
- Ensure clients are matched appropriately with the service and with a clinical professional.
- Enter client data into the electronic records system while responding to incoming telephone calls.
- Identify crisis calls and conduct risk assessments.
- Respond to client complaints or challenges and feedback regarding EFAP services.
