A local dining establishment in Canada seeks a culinary professional to enhance menu offerings by creating innovative recipes and leading kitchen staff. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of culinary experience and the ability to accommodate dietary restrictions. This position offers a competitive wage of $50.00 per hour for 40 hours a week.
• create new and innovative recipes to enhance menu offerings
• instruct and guide kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, garnishing, and presentation standards
• supervise cooks and other kitchen personnel to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
• prepare and cook food regularly, as well as for special events, VIP guests, or functions
• specialize in the preparation and cooking of signature dishes or specialty meals
• plan and design menus, ensuring all food meets quality, nutritional, and presentation standards
• prepare meals that accommodate customers with food allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions
• train staff in proper methods of food preparation, cooking, and safe food handling procedures
• requirements No degree, certificate, or diploma require, 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant work experience Wage:50.00 hourly / 40 hours per week.
