The QA Manual Tester provides assistance with estimating projects, reviewing requirements, and building test plans that contribute to the quality of IT products, applications, and systems. They coordinate test activities for basic/less-complex projects and assist in performing data analysis of executed scenarios to ensure data structure integrity and that end-user requirements are met.

1. Provides input to Test Strategy Plan and Test Approach.
2. Assists in developing Quality Control estimates and work plans for basic/less complex projects within the focused area of business.
3. Participates in the development, inspection, and maintenance of test specifications and may provide test data based on predefined testing standards.
4. Identifies and assesses risks and issues, proposing mitigation strategies for basic/less complex projects.
5. Validates key testable business requirements; reviews project deliverables to identify issues, defects, and risks, providing sign-off where applicable.
6. Decomposes business requirements into testable conditions, reviewing for completeness, consistency, clarity, relevance, redundancy, and testability.
7. Performs root cause analysis on assigned projects with assistance.
8. Responsible for defect identification, documentation, communication, and resolution follow-up according to business requirements.
9. Helps perform data analysis of executed scenarios to ensure data structure integrity and validates system modifications against end-user requirements and quality standards.
10. Coordinates testing activities for basic/less complex projects, interacting with business clients and offshore resources to ensure requirements are met.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
