You are:
An SAP Finance transformation specialist adept with the skills to help clients meet the challenges of digitization. You’re in your element using your know-how to solve clients’ most complex business problems to help their companies do more. You’re as comfortable working in teams and leading projects as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP systems. And you’re up for traveling regularly to client sites.

The work:

1. Plan and lead the implementation of all activities for a specific business function to improve performance for the business function end to end
2. Ensure alignment with business requirements including process analysis, design re-design and or organization structure definition
3. Spot strategies, risks and options, and then recommend approaches that sidestep problems and help clients meet their needs
4. Lead, coach and advise project staff in addition to managing their performance (depending on the project)
5. Give clients options for designs using prototypes
6. Set up and test the SAP system; understand and apply SAP methodologies
7. Work with clients and stakeholders to make sure they get where they want to go
8. Use your business smarts to kick-start transformation programs, whether domain- or platform-led
9. Provide business process and functional support for the SAP FI and CO modules including its sub-ledgers such as AP, AR, and AA
10. Facilitate requirements gathering workshops/discussions and assess, challenge, and document the business requirements.
11. Provide alternatives and recommend a solution.
12. Develop functional specifications for customizations and enhancements which include reports, data processing, load programs, and adjustment tools.
13. Develop test strategies, test plans and test scripts.
14. Perform functional testing execution after development completion.
15. Work with different teams and IT partners in different parts of the world to provide services to clients.
16. Identify and apply continuous improvement processes for operational efficiencies, drive process integration, and standardization

Job Qualifications

Here’s what you need:

1. Must be in possession of Secret level security clearance status with the Government of Canada
2. Minimum 2 years of functional experience implementing SAP Finance
3. Minimum of 1 year of experience with S/4 Hana
4. Good understanding of functional processes and their business value drivers
5. Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree
