Job summary
A fast-growing environmental consultancy is seeking a motivated Senior Ecologist to lead projects across various locations, including hybrid opportunities. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, conduct biodiversity assessments, and mentor junior staff. The ideal candidate should have a relevant ecology degree, CIEEM membership, and strong survey skills. This role includes flexible working options within a supportive team environment, making it perfect for someone wanting to have a significant impact on project direction.

- Relevant degree or master's qualification in ecology or environmental science.
- Membership with CIEEM, ideally working towards Chartership.
- Holder of one or more Protected Species Licences.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
Responsibilities

- Prepare ecological impact assessments and biodiversity net gain assessments.
- Mentor and support colleagues.
- Consult with sub-contractors and clients.
