Base pay range: $115,000.00 / yr - $150,000.00 / yr

Additional compensation: Annual Bonus, Sign-on bonus, and Stock options

Relocation and visa transfer support: We provide relocation packages and visa transfers (if required) for engineers currently in U.S. and Canadian hubs (TN1 visa eligible only).

What You’ll Own:

• Bare‑metal bring‑up of next‑gen Wi‑R transceivers and SoCs on Cortex‑M / RISC‑V MCUs.
• Real‑time drivers & architecture for I²C, SPI, BLE, DMA, sensors, and power domains.
• Ship a reference firmware SDK used by Tier‑1 consumer brands.

The Experience We’re After:

• 5+ years building production firmware for wearables, medical, or IoT hardware.
• Proven track record optimizing power consumption on Cortex‑M or other MCUs.
• Experience leading code reviews, tool‑chain decisions, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Bonus: RTOS, BLE stack expertise, PCB layout literacy, or neural/biometric sensing experience.

Compensation Transparency:

• Cost‑of‑living kicker: San Francisco is approximately 170% more expensive than West Lafayette; the same lifestyle would require approximately $300k–$405k in the Bay Area (including mortgage & tax costs).
• Without housing, $115k–$150k in West Lafayette provides the same lifestyle as roughly $230k–$290k in the Bay Area.
• Upside: early-stage equity, 401(k) + match, medical/dental/vision, relocation, and immigration assistance.
