This is a senior iOS SDK engineering role within the Mobile SDK team, focused on creating tools for developers globally and processing billions of events daily. You will work with Apple's latest technology, including Swift, SwiftUI, and modern concurrency, to solve complex challenges and advance the next generation of mobile monitoring tools.

You will dive deep into iOS capabilities and contribute to the core architecture, APIs, and product experience for the iOS SDK.

As the owner of our iOS SDK, you will guide its development from core architecture to final product experience. You will pioneer features like Session Replay and next-generation performance monitoring while mastering on-device AI and Apple technologies. You will design robust, high-quality APIs built to scale and help shape the overall vision for mobile at Sentry. You will be the go-to expert, helping teams solve complex customer challenges.

You will work with engineers who are passionate about building elegant, intuitive tools that other developers are excited to use. You will contribute full-time to a major open-source project and see the impact of your work in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a collaborative culture focused on excellence, learning, and growth.

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on mobile platforms, ideally in SDK development and/or developer tooling
• Deep experience developing for the iOS platform using Swift and Objective-C
• A strong understanding of mobile architecture, patterns, and best practices
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Location: Toronto area or willingness to relocate

• Knowledge of the app monitoring and observability space
• Familiarity with low-level programming (C/C++)
• Open-source library maintenance or contribution
• Experience with other mobile platforms or frameworks (Android + Kotlin/Java, React Native + JavaScript/TypeScript, Flutter + Dart)

The base salary range for this position is CAD $200,000 to $227,000. The final amount will depend on location, education, experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
