We sell across North America through a network of 6,000 wholesale partners, as well as directly through our ecommerce site, and Amazon.

Role & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in frontend and backend web development, Linux/web server admin, modern web infrastructure (AWS, GCP, serverless, containers), and relational databases.

As a Full Stack Developer at Rack-A-Tiers you will be a key part of our in-house technology team, with a focus on developing and improving our ecommerce store. As a core member of a small team, you will be responsible for deploying the backend framework, developing integrations, implementing custom features, and optimizing our customer experience.

You’ll also work on internal tools, create automations, and integrate with API’s and IoT devices that support operations across the company.

In this position you will:

• Bring your technical expertise to the table in collaboration with our staff, designers, and stakeholders to bring ideas from initial concept through to live deployment.
• Architect performant, reliable, and efficient applications that meet the needs of our staff and our customers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience developing Full Stack Web Applications and related technologies including:

• Experienced with major frameworks including React, Django, or similar. (Experience with Next.js an asset)
• Knowledgeable about RESTful and RPC API principles and experienced in their use.
• Experienced with server infrastructure. (HTTP Servers, Reverse Proxies, SSL)
• At-home at a Linux command line
• Comfortable working with databases. (Postgres, MySQL)
• Familiar with Cloud Providers (GCP, AWS)
• Excited about modern infrastructure and devops. (Docker, Kubernetes, Serverless, CICD)
• Experienced in ecommerce conversion rate optimization
