Job summary

A leading manufacturer in Brantford is seeking a detail-oriented Software Developer. The role involves developing and maintaining applications, providing technical support, and troubleshooting servers. The position offers a salary range of $63k-$66k, with work on-site 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role with preference from a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of OO techniques and relational data models.
• Superb attention to detail.
• Strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and document applications to meet business requirements.
• Modify and maintain existing applications.
• Provide technical support to end users for applications.
• Build, maintain, troubleshoot production and test web servers and database servers.
• Develop applications to work with peripherals (label printers, scanners).
• Communicate with both internal and external personnel including employees and product manufacturers.
• Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
