Job summary
A leading transportation firm is seeking a dedicated driver for local deliveries within Yellowknife. The ideal candidate will possess a Class 1 license and at least 12 months of driving experience. Responsibilities include timely deliveries, assisting with loading and unloading, and general office duties. This position offers competitive wages starting at $32.73/hour, benefits, and opportunities for growth. Only local applicants will be considered as accommodation is not provided.

This driver is responsible for completing local deliveries within Yellowknife and area in a timely manner. A normal workweek will be Monday to Friday, however, some flexibility in availability will occasionally be required.
May be required to drive a Straight truck or pickup truck depending on the need that day, assist on the dock unloading trailers and loading and general office duties. Willingto work long hours if needed, ableto travel to different terminals in the region to fill in when the need arises
The driver must reside in the Yellowknife area; no fly-in options.
- Class 1 license with 12 months of Class 1 driving experience
- 1 year of pick-up and delivery experience
- Must be able to operatea standard transmission
- Reliable and dependable
- TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are assets
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2work-related references.
