Kinesiologist/ RTW Coordinator - Calgary, AB (Full Time)

Note: Access to a vehicle is required for this position due to the nature of the role.

Location: 40 Sunpark Plaza SE, Calgary, AB, T2X 3X7

Mandatory requirements: Graduate of a university Kinesiology degree program.

In this role, your duties may include:

1. Performing return-to-work planning meetings (including worksite assessments to determine critical job demands and negotiating modified or full return to work plans with employers), both in person and virtually, in Calgary and surrounding areas.
2. Coordinating worksite assessments with various stakeholders.
3. Designing and implementing gradual return to work plans based on clients’ functional abilities.
4. Completing reporting and data collection records for all worksite visits.
5. Working cooperatively with clients and clinicians to update return-to-work plans as clients progress through treatment.
6. Working in a fast-paced interdisciplinary environment.
7. Participating in weekly team meetings to coordinate and advance clients’ RTW planning.

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of a university Kinesiology degree program.
2. Registration with or eligibility for registration with the Alberta Kinesiology Association (AKA).
3. 2+ years of clinical experience is considered an asset.
4. Experience with WCB assessments is considered an asset.
5. Word processing skills are considered an asset.
6. Negotiation skills are considered an asset.
