A major telecommunications company is seeking a System Technician in Northwestern Ontario to install and maintain Ignite Internet and TV services. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a focus on customer service, and the ability to work in various environments. This full-time position requires a valid driver’s license and a commitment to safety and quality control.

We have an exciting opportunity for a System Technician working out of Red Lake, Ontario, reporting to the Manager of Operations. The successful candidate will be part of a team that supports millions of customers with Ignite high-speed Internet, Ignite TV, and home phone, and will assist in the construction and maintenance of our outside plant network to deliver an exceptional customer experience on a continual basis.
To protect our people, brand and assets, a pre-employment background check will be conducted. As part of our selection process, all candidates must clear a criminal background check. Additionally, a credit check and drivers abstract may be required depending on the role. In certain provinces (e.g. British Columbia) you are required to obtain and maintain a valid security worker licence to perform your position's duties. If applicable, you must obtain the required license and provide proof of satisfactory to the Company that you have obtained it on or before your start date.
