A leading cancer research institute in Toronto is seeking a Corporate Events Coordinator to plan and execute events and provide administrative support to senior leaders. The successful candidate will require strong organizational and communication skills, along with proven experience in event logistics. This is a full-time temporary position until January 2027, offering a salary commensurate with experience.

The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) is seeking a professional and reliable Corporate Events Coordinator and Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Executive Office. Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
The Corporate Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing corporate and institutional events, conferences, and meetings for OICR and its programs. This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills, as well as the ability to balance multiple priorities.
The successful candidate will serve as OICR’s subject matter expert on event planning and logistics, while also providing administrative and operational support to senior leaders across the Institute, including the Senior Director, Research Operations & Therapeutic Innovation; the Associate Director, Scientific Secretariat; and the Director, Communications.
This position is temporary, full-time until January 2027 to cover a maternity leave.
