The role

We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing pro who can plan, create, and distribute original content across social platforms—and measure what moves the needle. You’ll own the strategy and the execution: editorial calendars, creative production (text, image, short-form video), channel management, and reporting.

What you’ll do
  • Own QIC’s social strategy across LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta, TikTok (prioritize what works).
  • Create original content: thought-leadership posts, carousels, threads, short videos, and lightweight motion graphics.
  • Turn internal expertise into content: distill research, project stories, and insights into snackable formats.
  • Plan and maintain a 60–90 day editorial calendar with weekly shipping cadence.
  • Grow engagement and followers through testing, trend-aware formats, and smart distribution (partners, creators, communities).
  • Measure what matters: impressions, engagement, CTR, follower growth, and content conversion; report learnings and iterate.
  • Manage brand voice and visuals consistently.
  • Coordinate with leadership and subject-matter experts to source raw material and approvals—without slowing momentum.
  • Keep a tidy asset pipeline: file naming, versions, captions, and rights/attributions.
What you’ve done (requirements)
  • 2–5+ years running social content for a brand, agency, or product (B2B experience preferred).
  • Portfolio of shipped content (please include links to posts, threads, carousels, and short-form video).
  • Hands-on creator: you can write, storyboard, shoot or edit short video, and package insights fast.
  • Proficient with platform-native tools and Adobe/Canva/CAPCut (or equivalent).
  • Comfortable turning technical or research-heavy material into approachable, high-signal content.
  • Data-driven instincts: you test, learn, and adapt without being precious about a format.
  • Excellent writing and editing; clean grammar, tight headlines, and a knack for hooks.
Nice to have
  • Experience with location-based storytelling or attractions, museums, events, or tours.
  • Light motion design chops for social (captions, lower-thirds, kinetic type).
  • Familiarity with basic SEO and newsletter workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with SMEs and executives to build thought leadership.
What success looks like (first 90 days)
  • Publish 3–5 high-quality posts per week across priority channels.
  • Ship at least 4 short-form videos that outperform our current baseline engagement.
  • Stand up a simple reporting dashboard and a repeatable weekly content workflow.
  • Demonstrate audience growth and engagement lift with 2–3 proven content formats.
Location & work setup

Preference given to those willing to work a hybrid schedule in the Orlando area. Remote-friendly within the U.S., with occasional in-person collaboration for content capture and events. Standard U.S. work hours with flexibility when publishing or attending live events.
